Jogoo Fortified – Classic Ugali


  • Jogoo Fortified maize flour
  • 4 cups (950 ml) water


  1. Fill a deep pan with the water and bring to boil.
  2. Slowly add the Jogoo Fortified maize flour to the water and stir with a wooden spoon. It may take 10 to 20 minutes of continuous stirring and adding more flour as needed to get to the desired texture, which is thicker than mashed potatoes.
  3. You will know it’s ready when the dough pulls away from the side of the pan.
